CORIT is originally an abbreviation of Copenhagen Research Group on International Taxation, an international research group founded in 2009. Today CORIT in its original form still exists (see www.corit.dk and www.corit-academic.org). In 2012 CORIT was divided into CORIT Advisory and CORIT Academic – two sister organizations with a slightly different name, but with a common passion for business and international tax.
